Rifle Ready is truly the culmination of 3 passions; long range marksmanship, big game hunting and teaching. Having spent many years in and around shooting sports, I’ve always noticed the expansive knowledge and experience gap that exists between a Novice Hunter/Shooter and a proficient rifleman. This disparity can often take 1000’s of rounds downrange and years to overcome… it did me. The more knowledgeable I became in the sport, the more I realized that quality, in-person instruction was a superior alternative to digesting online content and a higher round count. There is immense value in being able to blend quality in-person instruction with live-fire implementation of marksmanship concepts… it’s the bringing together of the art and science of long range precision rifle.

Growing up with a profound appreciation for the outdoors (hunting, fishing and shooting most of my life) I’ve spent the past several years pursuing Long Range Precision, competing in local and national precision rifle matches (PRS and NRL Hunter). As I spent more time at the range honing these skills, I also found myself sharing my knowledge and passion with newer shooters. Through these experiences I developed an affinity for instructing as well as a desire for deepening my expertise in the distinct disciplines that comprise long range precision marksmanship. I became involved with CPW’s Hunter Outreach Programs and various hunting conservation nonprofits, focusing on training new hunters and enthusiasts. Working as a firearms instructor and hunt mentor is an extremely rewarding endeavor. Being able to share in client’s accomplishments (whether its watching someone ring steel at 600yds for the first time, or a successful adventure in the field) provides me great enjoyment.
So I started Rifle Ready with one simple goal in mind… To help hunters and enthusiasts in their marksmanship journey, by providing them with the knowledge, skills and attitude to be successful at the range or in the field.
